The ring is open for an extraordinary school morning at the Circus & Clown Museum Vienna!
In the Circus Lab, elementary school children discover the fascinating world of circus, clowning and magic not just as spectators, but above all as active participants. After a shared introduction to circus history, the museum becomes a ring: the children try out different techniques, learn simple tricks and experience how much imagination, practice, courage and teamwork go into a successful circus act.

The Three Stations
Juggling
The children discover movement, rhythm and dexterity with scarves, soft juggling balls and other child-friendly circus props. They learn the basics of throwing and catching, practice alone, in pairs and in small groups, and experience coordination, concentration and shared moments of success.
Clowning
The children discover how much expression, imagination and body language go into clowning. With movements, feelings, roles and small scenes, they playfully develop their own clownish acts. They also learn simple principles of comedy, such as surprise, repetition, exaggeration and playing with expectations.
Magic
The children learn three to four simple, age-appropriate magic tricks. Together they craft and design the necessary props, practice the tricks step by step, and discover how suspense, language, eye contact and presentation make a magic act especially effective. Afterwards, they can perform their tricks in front of the group, if they like.
